Bouquet Care

Make sure your vase has been thoroughly cleaned before use. Cut flower stems at a 45 degree angle upon receiving and immediately place in a vase filled with cool water. Avoid submerging leaves and/or foliage. This can encourage bacteria growth that could
shorten the vase life of your flowers.

To maximize vase life, check and change water every other day. Remove any faded blossoms or stems and trim about a half inch off from the ends before placing back into fresh water. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat.

vase arrangements

If you receive an arrangement in water – it has already been treated with flower food. Please check the level of water in the arrangement to make sure some was not spilled during transit.

Potted Paperwhite Care:

Provide bright, indirect light and keep in a cool location to prolong blooming.  Water  when the top soil feels dry to the touch and avoid overwatering as this can cause the bulb to rot.   You can support leggy stems with sticks, especially when they begin to flower which can cause the plant to get top heavy.

Potted Amaryllis Care:

Provide bright, indirect light and keep in a cool location to prolong blooming. Water when the top soil feels dry to the touch and avoid overwatering to prevent bulb rot. After the plant is finished blooming, cut the flower stalk but leave the leaves.  Continue watering and provide plant fertilizer regularly during the spring and summer – they are happy to go outside!  In the fall, stop watering and store the bulb in a cool dark place for 8-10 weeks.  Cut any remaining growth all the way down to the bulb,  Resume watering to enjoy again.
